Our Story
LONG NAME, WE KNOW! But so is our story if you get to know us well.

Marmolejos Labs is a dream from many years ago when Lola, my first Lab, came into my life. I fell head-over heals in love with the breed and so did everyone that met Lola. Years later, our pack includes one of Lola's great-great grandchildren and I still see Lola's tenacity, intelligence, sweetness and great disposition in her.
​
We are committed to the health, temperament and physical conformation of the Labrador Retriever. Like any responsible breeder, our mission is that each litter is better than the previous one, with the breed standard as our guide. All of our dogs are health tested before they are bred.
​
Our goal is to breed a balanced Labrador, as the breed was originally created.
​
We are proud to know that we have had dogs dedicated to work, as detection dogs or hunting companions. Others have participated in dog shows. While others have served as perfect family and therapy dogs. Meaning our Labradors are multifunctional.
​
We DO NOT live exclusively from the sale of puppies. We are financially independent from breeding, although raising Labradors is our passion and we do have a growing demand for puppies, which is why we typically hold a waiting list.
​
The truth is that we breed Labradors because we are in love with the breed.
We love going hiking and camping, going to the beach, dancing and spending cheerful times with friends.
We always welcome scheduled visits so that you may see our dogs, and help you determine if a Marmolejos Lab is the right fit for your lifestyle, your home and your family.
